This affinity group is designed for white people who want to engage in conversations about race that produce understanding, insight, and connection. This is an entry level program to assist white people who want to participate in the effort to further the goals of racial justice and equity in our society.
This four-session group program uses emergent learning techniques that broaden and build understanding through reflection, storytelling, and information. Some of the topics that will be discussed are systemic racism, white supremacy, implicit bias, history of racism, and antiracism.
Vince Canziani, LMSW has been working in social work for 34 years. He is an experienced facilitator, team builder and management consultant. Having operated a diversity program for 20 years, he has been leading conversations about race that build understanding and relationships.

Team Building
Team building programming uses activity to help staff deepen their working relationships. Activities used take staff out of their routines and place them in new roles with each other. This change deepens relationships as people see each other differently and have a new frame of reference to collaborate when they return to their routines. This can be done in person or remotely on Zoom.
Micro-Appreciations
This is hour long workshop focuses on the simple, yet powerful ways that relationships can be built through the way we appreciate each other every day and in every interaction. These are easy and effective ways to grow your living human system.
Coaching
In this individual work, the focus is to broaden and build on strengths. Based on Positive Psychology, a person is more likely to improve by understanding how their abilities can be used to expand skills.
